Behind every successful PR campaign there is a great PR strategy!
In this edition of #FrontRunners Live, our guests Beck Bamberger from BAM and Cathy White from CEW Communications shared best practices in public relations for early stage tech startups with moderator Gisele Karekezi (Luge).
These two veteran PR specialists went over the dos and don’ts, walked through how to think about your PR strategy and provided us with some PR hacks you can implement without the need of an expensive agency. Beck Bamberger – CEO and founder at BAM Beck oversees the brand vision of BAM, builds relationships and community with venture capitalists, and ensures BAM has the most diverse, incredible team. Since BAM’s inception in 2008, Beck has overseen the pivot of BAM to exclusively represent venture-backed technology brands and progressive venture funds. Previously, Beck worked in TV at NBC and hosted a television show that aired on the CW and won an Emmy. She holds an economics degree from UCLA and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Cathy White – Founder and Director at CEW Communications Cathy specialises in working with startups and the organisations that support them, with a real passion for working with growing companies where she can make an impact on their business.
